Selling FAQs

When does Lilo get paid?

We only get paid when the item sells, meaning we have 'skin in the game' when it comes to selling your item. Selling your item fast is in our best interest.

Can I still sell on Marketplace?

Yes! If you choose Sell by Consignment, you are free to sell wherever you choose. We do not ask for exclusive selling rights, and nor should we! We do ask that you let us know when you have sold the item so we don't let down the buyer on our end. We will also give you some time to confirm the sale, in case you forgot to let us know.

What does "Consignment" actually mean?

Consignment is just a fancy word for 'selling on your behalf'. This means we don't own the item, you maintain ownership until the item sells. We simply sell on your behalf.

How is it safe and secure?

By managing the transaction with a secure platform, and offering a professional delivery service, we are able to keep your details safe and secure.

What happens if it doesn't sell?

If the item does not sell, we will be back in touch with you after 30 days with various options, which may include a price adjustment based on our pricing tool.

What happens if my furniture is damaged?

If your furniture is damaged on transit, we will cover the costs based on the agreed value (i.e. what it sold for).
